2025-01-08 Sys Ops & Management SIG Agenda and Meeting notes

• Ingolf reports about his progress to deploy FOLIO Eureka on a Single Server according to this documentation: Single Server Fresh InstallThis went pretty well. He was able to install platform-minimal, snapshot versions.

• Ingolf also built a frontend according to this documentation: Kubernetes Example Deployment#Deploy-Eureka-UI (not deployed on Kubernetes, but with plain Docker). Ingolf is able to access the Frontend, but is not able to select the tenant (diku), yet.
• Ingolf had discussions with Vasyl Avramenko about that in #sys-ops Chat. Ingolf then kind of gave up upon that, because the frontend building process is currently undergoing structural changes. Right now, it is very similar to an Okapi build - but this will change.
• Ingolf reports on Problems of not being able to load (default) Capabilties for his (diku) tenant and diku_admin user. This may be part of the problem why he can not access his tenant. Standard Roles and Capabilities are also just being built up.
