• About the Reporting SIG meeting schedule

  • Meetings are held on the first 4 Mondays of each month at 11:00 am Eastern U.S. time (see this time in your time zone). The first and third Mondays focus on Reporting Development topics, and the second and fourth Mondays focus on Reporting Business topics. 

  • "business" means topics like presentations on reporting functionality and new features, new reporting applications, surveys and studies on reporting, etc.

  • "development" means working on derived tables and report queries for the folio-analytics GitHub repository

  • "workshopping" queries could be scheduled during any of these meetings, and it would be great to have topics and/or questions in advance so we can prepare to walk through the answers/approaches, such as "how to I fix this inventory query to get rid of the duplicates?" or "what is the best way to calculate totals in this finance query?" 

• What topics would you like us to cover in the Reporting SIG?

  • Would you like to present a topic on something interesting for the Reporting SIG?

  • Would you like us to find one or more presenters to cover a topic you are interested in learning more about?

Community Priorities Dashboard Development from FOLIO Product Council

The Product Council is gathering priorities from SIGs across the FOLIO project to inform software development. We will review priorities that have been included for Metadb software development.

Metadb Data Privacy Subgroup Forming

During the Reporting SIG meeting on 7/14/25, we heard from several institutions about data privacy, data anonymization, and access via security roles/permissions to Metadb reporting databases. We are forming the Metadb Data Privacy subgroup of the Reporting SIG to offer a forum for working on priorities and solutions for Metadb software development. This is envisioned as a limited set of meetings to identify priorities then work with developers on feature development.

Reporting in FOLIO Finance Apps and Acquisitions in the Lists App

Joe Reimers and Dennis Bridges will offer a presentation on “Reporting in FOLIO Finance Apps and Acquisitions in the Lists App” to enable us to learn more about these areas of data delivery in FOLIO.
