11/29/2017

Attendees: Khalilah, Kristen, Steve, Peter, Harry, and Bethany

Regrets: Oliver

eHoldings app update

  • Development (Austin team)’s focus: Pagination, Custom Coverage, and Filters & Sorts
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – planned for mid-December

Codex and eHoldings update

  • Development (EBSCO team) is building a service/interface to the EBSCO KB API that the Codex will call to get title records from EBSCO KB to power Codex Search app slated for alpha release.
  • Title records will only return/include codex eligible fields.

Inventory & Electronic Holdings discussion update

  • KG and Kristen participated on the 11/21 Inventory Management discussion on the display of electronic holdings on an Inventory record
  • KG’s Key Takeaway: Integration of eHoldings title + package information with Inventory records as a way to streamline workflow (no need to manage eHoldings in two apps) as eHoldings would be the only source to manage eHoldings information.

Integration requirements

  • Teams are focused on alpha release but are aware that integrations need to be discussed sooner than later.
  • Goals for December and January
    • Knowledge of other FOLIO apps [Action Item: KG to work with other teams to schedule demos]
    • Have access to a document (if/when available)that outlines Codex/Inventory/eHoldings/Acquisitions capabilities. Will aid in identifying opportunities for integration.
    • Create Google Doc to document eHoldings requirements collected [Action Item: KG will provide]

Next Meeting: Wednesday, December 20th @ 2pm ET.
