FOLIO Login page - Change the default keycloak login page layout for all non-ECS libraries that support both local password AND/OR SSO authentication so that the login page matches Ramsons login UX. This change is based customer feedback via Slack.

For MOBIUS, please discuss with them their preferred layout.

For LOC, no change.

Instructions for setting the theme, aka instructions on how to test this, are included on the original PR:

  1. sign into the Keycloak admin console

  2. choose the realm/tenant from the select menu at top-left

  3. click Manage > Clients from the menu at bottom left

  4. click ${tenant}-application under the "Clients list" tab

  5. under the "Settings" tab, find "Login settings > Login theme" and choose custom-theme-sso-first and click the Save button

Assumptions

  1. Each hosting provider will determine best course of action on whether this update is applied to all non-ECS setups or is a customer request.

  2. If a customer has multiple SSOs setup then please consider

    1. Maintaining the current layout. Future release will support improved UX.

    2. Ensuring the SSO buttons labels are distinctive if you decide to go with the new default layout.
