extensive discussion of architcture of item statuses

Emma gave overvierw–Tania can have her give us the full presentation if desired

Folio had been using compound statuses ex: "checked out–recalled;" so one field offered many types of info

Folio is not going to use compound statuses

list will be pared down to ~6 circulation and 2-3 acquisition statuses (available, ck'd out, in transit, awaiting pickup, lost–grossly overdue, truly lost; on order in process, expected)

So, will use *missed this part*

if in transit to fill request, staff will see from where to where an item is going and why; also issue of how will display patron side

Considering hierarchy of display or could display info in different areas or columns

Rameka also went to backend dev mtg about this, raised concern that devs were not currently considering real-time changes, Emma set to follow up on this since in process status does make a difference

requested/recalled info is patron loan info

also, issue of custody/responsibility of an item

zero in request queue is odd and confusing
