Goal Statement

  • Clarify guidance on evaluating new functionality in terms of scoping work appropriately and ensuring clarity for what is required from those who present new functionality to the PC.

Timeline:

  • Phase I: Work on checklist (and action) concept

  • Phase II: Communication and engagement

Deliverables:

  • Updated Evaluation Process Document

  • New Checklist/Decision tree that includes

    • Definition of new functionality (impact versus new)

    • Define PC’s role in evaluating new functionality (inform and support vs accept/deny)

    • Actions

      • Role of liaisons to prepare those presenting new functionality

      • When to bring new functionality to PC

      • Self-evaluation checklist

    • Include examples including UI changes
