Proposal: change to Community Dashboard process

 

Proposal:

  1. SIGs add label pc_priority_26 for top five priorities for FY ’26. Can then use this plus existing SIG labels to see SIG priorities for a give year.

  2. Include wider group (e.g. institutions) in indicating priorities.

Discussion:

  • Table of SIG labels can be found at Getting Started for Product Owners

  • No concerns about adding the pc_priority_… label from SIGs.

  • Concerns expressed about expectations created if allow institutions.

  • Desire to get broader perspective on needs, need this info to make sure FOLIO is competitive in the marketplace.

  • Concern that we not just collect priorities that re-create the ILS of five years ago, but want to build for the future.
