Product Council
Identify product level themes based on what we learn from the Community Priorities Dashboard (CPD)
Establish CPD update frequency, send out reminders, host regular prioritization presentations from SIGs
Create and maintain documentation and best practices
Establish an ongoing process to maintain and update the dashboard
Develop an ongoing plan that includes a PC member role that will coordinate this process in an ongoing manner
PC SIG liaisons will check in with their SIG conveners on a regular basis with reminders and offers of assistance with the prioritization process
Create a standing role to maintain the dashboard and assign it to a member of the PC.
The Chairman of the [Dash]board job description: Shares progress and impact of items on CPD with the FOLIO Community (ex: how many prioritized items were developed last year), reminds SIGs of deadlines, follows up with SIGs that haven't submitted or presented, and other CPD maintenance related duties.
Product Owners: Review the dashboard on a regular basis and consider factoring in the SIG’s highest ranked priorities into their work.
Community Members: Consult the dashboard to understand areas of FOLIO that need additional attention, find opportunities to coordinate with others on shared needs, identify gaps for new implementers.
