• Review POs' beta release notes & make suggestions

  • Notes on functionality - BETA

  • Screenshots are great!

  • Known issues are very helpful too, context about what is in or out of scope

  • Suggestions:

    • Focus on new features and important enhancements, give less significant enhancements and bug fixes less real estate

    • POS should request that SIGs or SME development contacts review before finalizing

  • Framework:

    • New features

      • What is in scope

      • Out of scope

      • Associated Jira(s)

      • Associated documentation

      • Associate permissions

      • Demo or screenshots

      • Known issues

    • Bug fixes and smaller enhancements

      • Just link to Jiras

• Volunteers needed for:

  • Create sample LinkedIn post and folio.org news post re: Sunflower release notes

    • @Jennifer Eustis will have a draft ready by Feb 19, 2026

    • Highlights from Sunflower (R1 2025) Videos & Release Digest

    • Hannah Murphy was our contact for Folio PR/Outreach, but she has moved on from EBSCO so we will need to work with Rachel Fadlon instead

  • Folio.org follow-up

    • @Jennifer Eustis will take some questions to Rachel

      • What kinds of suggestions can the PC make for this site’s content?

      • Could PC be given access/authorizations to make some edits?

    • We have a list of suggestions for content

      • Can the release calendar page be revised to link to the appropriate news post about the upcoming release, which is also on Folio.org?

      • Can release calendar page be moved to “About” section?

      • Features page seems scanty, a map graphic would be nice in live sites page, etc.

      • Ideally, a full revamp would be nice!!

        • Thomas could possibly recruit Cornell efforts for this?

  • Compiling existing release management documentation and mapping the process (probably need 2 people for this one)

    • @Autumn Faulkner and @Thomas Trutt will begin work on this

• Action items

  Suggested framework for what info to include for each new feature

  Suggested summary/context for the main landing page
