June 2026 Quarterly SIG Reports
Reports should include:
Discussion of specific development areas. Including Jira issues for both features and bugs is helpful.
Work related to the FOLIO Roadmap or work that occurred that is not well-represented on the FOLIO roadmap.
Information about demos, user discussions, or future functionality for FOLIO.
Spins-ups or wind-downs of specific subgroups or working groups in a particular area.
Ideas or issues that came up feel outside the scope of the SIG but need commenting.
When you click on Submit Request, this will create a new wiki page that will need to be published. To submit a request,

@Susanne Gill | @Autumn Faulkner | Discussed Implementers topics #195, #193, #192 Introduction to https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UIREC-499
@Alissa Hafele & @Laura E Daniels | @Martin Scholz | Starting in May, Alissa & Laura are co-convening. Cross App SIG discussed issues that arise, primarily in circulation-related activities, when FOLIO tenants operate in more than one time zone. This is of particular interest (but not unique) to Consortia. The SIG has had several discussions about persistent filter behavior in Acquisitions Apps (Orders & Receiving) compared to other FOLIO Apps. See https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/x/AwCWZ The persistent filters can lead to unexpected results when sharing a link for a search. We visited the Acquisitions SIG: slide deck outlining challenges and summarizing feedback and will be following up with recommended changes and some ideas around the possibility of filter sets. Tom Trutt and Laura Daniels will be visiting various SIGs to solicit feedback on the current state of Item State.

| With the decision by Galileo not to move forward with FOLIO and OpenRS, and their departure from the SIG, the Consortia SIG is in the process of defining who we are and why we exist. Dennis Bridges and the SIG members have been discussing the different types/models of consortia. We also elected to meet once per month, with a second meeting held in reserve, as needed. | |
