Please use this rubric to assign numerical ratings as you listen to SIG reports on their top five priorities. These ratings will capture your individual assessments. Once all SIGs have presented their priorities to the Product Council (PC), the compiled ratings will help inform broader group discussions within the PC.

Evaluate the extent to which the proposed functionality will improve FOLIO’s efficiency and benefit a broad range of stakeholders. High-impact features will significantly streamline work for many users across different areas.

Competitiveness

Assess whether the proposed functionality addresses a current gap in FOLIO when compared to industry standards, or if it represents a unique, desirable innovation that enhances FOLIO’s position in the library services landscape.

Usability

Consider how the proposed functionality enhances FOLIO’s user experience. Prioritize features that make the interface more intuitive, consistent across apps, and accessible to a wide range of users.

Vision alignment (Reference: FOLIO Vision and Framework)

Rate how well the proposed functionality supports the goals and principles outlined in the FOLIO Vision and Framework. Features that closely align with FOLIO’s strategic direction and long-term goals should be prioritized more highly.
