Call for new volunteers for note taking rotation. Need 2 more!

• Contribute to the community in an easy way! With the rotating schedule, you only take notes about once a month. Sometimes less if meetings are canceled! It's pretty easy to get coverage if you have a conflict on your designated meeting day with your cohort of notetakers.

Homework for the SIG (from last meeting): vote on Jira issues to help us prioritize on where to start Choose from list at the top of the Implementers Topics page or the regular list at the bottom.

The plan is to dedicate one meeting every month to discuss a specific topic from the Implementers Topics list and invite the responsible PO’s to this meeting.

• Propose: last meeting of the month, starting Feb. 27th

• Not mandatory if nothing to discuss

• Will not necessarily go in order. Please keep eyes on list, bring topics of interest to conveners to discuss.

• Add new topics to the bottom

• Reminder: please vote on the tickets

• Next meeting will likely discuss UXPROD-5135 (Laura to confirm)

Announcement: Susan Kimball is the new RA SIG convener.

WOLFcon 2025: Take place at the Western Downtown Center. Good location for sights at the city. TBD if attending virtual will be an option. It will be a paid option, but reasonably.

Eureka transition updates from early adopters: In progress. The way permissions is different for Eureka. The PC will encourage that a guideline can be written up. Maybe work steered by the Implementers SIG and the Cross App SIG.

2. Encouraging SIG member participation, and especially new FOLIO Libraries. On-boarding is an important task.

   1. MM SIG Notes:

      1. Conversation will continue and maybe in MM SIG?

      2. What would it take to engage differently in the community?

      3. What does engagement mean?

      4. Seems like good time to tease out what is the role of the SIG in the for implementing institutions, end goal for participation.

      5. understanding backlog of development

      6. capacity and institutional understanding of the need for community participation

         1. the need to include participation in job descriptions

      7. 5 colleges: had to change the way we thought about the ILS and how to engage with it. Takes time.
