Call for new volunteers for note taking rotation. Need 2 more!

  • Contribute to the community in an easy way! With the rotating schedule, you only take notes about once a month. Sometimes less if meetings are canceled! It's pretty easy to get coverage if you have a conflict on your designated meeting day with your cohort of notetakers.

  • App Interaction SIG started discussing the ability to hide fields at the tenant level (https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-1745 )

    • will continue this discussion at February 19 meeting

Review of parking lot topics (what needs to be moved to implementers page)

Issues in Parking Lot that are still open will be moved to new Implementers Topics page (if they are not already there).

Continuation from last meeting on 30 January 2025.

Once all topics have been added to Implementer topics page, the Parking Lot page will be deprecated and archived.

Felix and Raegan are planning to do some cleaning up of our MM SIG pages.

  • Homework for the SIG: vote on Jira issues to help us prioritize on where to start Choose from list at the top of the Implementers Topics page or the regular list at the bottom.

No news on Ramsons release GA date. Hopeful for an announcement tomorrow, 2025-02-07.

The WOLFcon planning team is getting organized.

New RA-SIG co-convener is: Susan Kimball

Timeline for upcoming elections: Product Council Membership History

Product Council: 6 seats up for election this Spring. Recruiting will start Mid March. 4 members turn has reached the term limit (Kristin, Jesse, Martina, Brooks) who will reach out to encourage people to volunteer. 2 members are up for re-election (Jennifer, Charlotte).

Eureka transition update: Community Council chair had a meeting on Monday. All three council’s has approved the timeline (rollout with Sunflower), with the comment that the early adopter’s requirement were met. Need to track the requirements have been met/not met. Update from GBV, ID, and TAMU on the ongoing Eureka work.

Discovery Integration Subgroup transition to be a SIG

Link to the FOLIO Discovery SIG Charge. Nicole Trujillo is the SIG convener.

The SIG meet bi-weekly. All meeting notes are on FOLIO wiki. The group focus on VuFind, Black Light, Locate, and EDS.

Top priority for the SIG is: UXPROD-4805: API endpoint for batch renewalDraft API endpoint for batch renewal

As an official SIG it will be easier to better advocate for Jira tickets.
