PC update

Announcements: User group meeting in China was well attended around 20,000 attendees and 106 different academic libraries were represented

SIG convener meeting and reports--Highlights of reports:

  • Documentation working group- Marcia is meeting with the group and Paul Kloppenborg is beginning his training as part of the succession plan and Orchid documentation has to be completed by April 3rd

  • Sys Ops- fixed the calendar bugs in Nolana and fixed several bugs in Okapi

  • Implementers-held several demos and one on Label printing, plan to offer a session on data import for new implementers; Tara volunteered to help Oleksii with Release notes and videos

  • User management- Dennis Bridges will come to talk about User app and went over GDPR regulations that require users to see their data so talked about user export

  • App Integration-looking at workflow solutions and comparisons; and meet with Jeremy about using Mod camunda

  • ACQ-Demo of Univ. of Chicago's invoicing and voucher workflow and heard about others workflows

  • ERM-how to link/find titles linked to agreements

  • RA-discussed Recall and requests

  • Reporting-working on query development and building query repository. Reporting has a review board for the repository; On Monday Texas A&M will demo their reporting use of FOLIO

  • SIG conveners- Discussing onboarding 

PC elections are coming up and anyone interested in running talk to a PC member-requirements 1 representative from each institution and institution has to be a member of FOIO; FOLIO terminology and definitions are completed by the Councils and PC will be reviewing it next week.
