Notes from chat:

From Ann Kardos (she/her) to Everyone: 12:26 PM
Why can’t we just say “The title you requested is included in a volume with these titles: list of titles"
From Felicia Piscitelli to Everyone: 12:27 PM
In the case of special collections, the request would be mediated through a public-service person, who can communicate the fact that there are other titles
From scolglaz@mtholyoke.edu to Everyone: 12:27 PM
I like what Ann suggested
From Ann Kardos (she/her) to Everyone: 12:30 PM
I don’t find it that mysterious either, and at some point there may be a public service person mediating this So I think something simple just describing that the piece someone wants is included with other titles is sufficient.
From Felicia Piscitelli to Everyone: 12:30 PM
"Bound-with" is more specific than "With". You can have something "With" accompanying material that is not bound
From Jacquie Samples to Everyone: 12:31 PM
I agree Felicia, but on that point, wouldn't these also circulate together? That word would then serve more than one purpose.
From Felicia Piscitelli to Everyone: 12:33 PM
Well, in MARC the 501 "With" note is more specific, meaning issued that way by the publisher or printer, as opposed to several titles bound together after publication
From Jacquie Samples to Everyone: 12:33 PM
Also, thinking of "filmed with" I think that the note should only include the first title.
From Felicia Piscitelli to Everyone: 12:38 PM
I think Having an item record connect to multiple holdings will be helpful. If you leke, I can send you some really tricky examples from our catalog
From Laura Wright (she/her) to Everyone: 12:39 PM
Sure, that would be great

Further discussion on migration of bound-withs to Folio.
