• API design for native LD graph backends that meet diverse requirements

  • We would need to partner with developers to help identify the work that needs to be done. Ask Wayne S. (Index Data) if he would be willing to speak about this in an upcoming meeting.

  • Brainstorm who (developers/API developers) might be willing to work on this.

• Inventory Instance and URIs

  • Also been discussion about the review of the Inventory Instance data model: are they related?

  • Where else would URIs want to live? FOLIO holdings? MARC holdings?

  • If we bundle URIs with modeling review: will it take a long time? Is it a framing/strategy question?

  • How can we use customizable fields to meet more use cases/library uses or preferences? Work is being done on customizable options for Trillium

  • Use cases would be helpful to happen first: plan for this discussion. Can inform issues.

  • Subject/place entities: do they live in FOLIO? If so, where?

    • MARC Authority for Cornell means storing authorities twice: in Solr and in FOLIO.

    • Revisit with the larger group: the earlier EM SIG tickets are hard to revive/consume. The abstraction level and wording is less concrete compared to where we are now. It may be doable but we need to discuss it and identify what is not currently solved by MARC authority.

Community Priorities Dashboard Development

We currently have one feature prioritized: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-4600

• We still have questions about this issue (UXPROD-4600) and need to revisit.

• Feature writing from Charlotte’s presentation; LC, Share-VDE, and NLS are also interested

• Remind everyone of the pending issues; link to pre-reads, and we will need to select 5! to prioritize and link to the PC priority board.

• Delay of Trillium and still planning Umbrella leaf so there is time to try and get some work done/documented. Citation team can potentially do some work.
