What SIGs Should I Join? (draft)

A Special Interest Group (SIG) consists of practitioners from libraries and services providers that are interested in contributing to a specific functional area of the FOLIO platform. Many libraries who implement FOLIO choose to participate in one or more SIGs both to stay informed and to have representation in the project.

There are many SIGs. You can see a list of active SIGs here: Special Interest Groups. There is also a list available on the wiki home page.

Implementers covers a variety of topics. However, more advanced or technical questions are often better addressed by the more specific/specialized SIGs.

SIGs by App

If you have a question that relates to a specific FOLIO app, these are the SIGs that (more or less) cover each app. There are plenty of exceptions, but these SIGs would generally be a good place to start.

If your question spans more than one app, you may want the Cross-App Interaction SIG.

If something is broken in FOLIO and you just need help, you may want the Support SIG.

If you don't know what you need, ask for direction on the Implementers SIG slack channel.
