Housekeeping

  • Review of topics for 2nd half of year. Still interested in what’s planned? Anything new we want to plan? https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IMPLEMENTERS/pages/461012994

    • A bit of reordering was done; WOLFcon review session added

  • WOLFcon Sessions

    • Working Session: WOLFcon 2025: FOLIO Implementers Group Working Session

    • Remote Storage Session (may be cancelled): https://wolfcon2025.sched.com/event/25lbI/remote-storage-working-group

    • Plug your session or your favorite session!

      • Maura has “Implementing Eureka permissions” - the how it came together session - how to make things happen as a group. Remote storage another good example. Steven Backs is working on a tool to migrate permissions to roles, Maura will follow up.

      • Maura doing an Intro to User Management

      • Tom has a fee/fine session on the bursar transfer, history of it, new one Tom has written.

      • Another session for the idea of moving Fee/Fines into its own app.

      • Peter doing an Introduction to the FOLIO Community

      • Kate interested in the session on Accessibility requirements

      • Keynotes are always really good

    • Go for the BBQ!

  • Join Implementers Programming Board!

    • For 2025, Implementers SIG set up a “Programming Board” consisting of three conveners (Tara, Tom, and Darsi). This experiment has gone very well--by meeting every other week and spreading out the work, we’ve been able to keep our calendar full and our notes up to date. Our hope is to recruit 1-2 new members of the programming board by the end of the year so that 1-2 of us can rotate off. Adding fresh voices will help bring new ideas to this vibrant SIG. This is a great opportunity in particular for someone to try out being a convener with a low commitment and a great support network. Please let us know if anyone is interested!
