Path to Snapshots

In Folio-org account:

  • RDS snapshots keep here.
  • S3 snapshots keep here.

Name convention

Please follow the naming convention when creating a snapshot.

The name convention consists of 4 parts:


Example of naming:

, where 

nbf - Name of release (release_name). nbf - Nolana BugFest

bugfest - Name of the environment (env_name)

snapshot - always will be snapshot

11-07-2022 - Date when the snapshot was created (date). Date format MM-DD-YY


Retention policy

Be careful, the retention policy is 2 snapshots per release.
If you create/move a new snapshot, check the number of existing snapshots. If necessary, delete the oldest one.

Clearing snapshots is currently a manual operation.

For sharing Snapshots between accounts please follow official instruction.
