SIP2 testing

Testing Tool: SIP Testing Tool

Recording

To connect to FOLIO instance via SIP testing tool:

• Get the address from rancher → Workloads → Deployments → find SIP2 → download YAML
  Where to go in rancher, example for etesting-snapshot:

Address will look like this: k8s-snapshot-edgesip2-36a6c987cb-07c04bd4efb6b12b.elb.us-west-2.amazonaws.com

Then open the sip-testing-tool app and:

• Paste the address from YAML file to SIP address field

• Specify Port = 80 → click Connect

• Enter a FOLIO username into SIP username field and user’s password into SIP password fields → click Login

• Don’t forget to specify Service point ID in “Location code” field.

Sample of settings for SIP testing tool:

• Location Code (UUID of the service point)
