Bulk Editing MARC Instances from Member Tenants

The behavior described below reflects bulk edit of MARC instances in ECS environment after MODDATAIMP-1214: ECS: Ability to restrict Data Import Actions in Member Tenant to Local Instances onlyClosed has been implemented.

 

Sunflower Release

Identifiers

  • Shared MARC Instance without holdings in Member tenant
    Records are filtered out during the Matching records step and reported in the error log as:
    "No match found."

  • Shared MARC Instance with holdings in Member tenant
    Records are not edited. Once the bulk edit job is completed, the following error appears on the Confirmation screen:
    "Instance with source CONSORTIUM-MARC is not supported by MARC records bulk edit and cannot be updated."

Query

  • Shared MARC Instance without holdings in Member tenant
    Records are filtered out during the Matching records step and reported in the error log on the Matching records form as:
    "No match found."

  • Shared MARC Instance with holdings in Member tenant
    Records are not edited. Once the bulk edit job is completed, the following error appears on the Confirmation screen:
    "Instance with source CONSORTIUM-MARC is not supported by MARC records bulk edit and cannot be updated."

Trillium Release

  • Shared MARC Instance with holdings in Member tenant
    Records are not edited. Once the bulk edit job is completed, the following error appears on the Confirmation screen:

    "SRS record associated with the instance is missing."
