  • Current sprint focus on the morning glory releases and the release of the modules, after that there is testing period and bugfest

  • Prior to this release there were a lot of testing

  • minor issues in the user interface, counters on screen not immediately updated e.g. adding a tag 

  • solution was not simple, required reengineering, major changes in the front end without changing the functionality

  • Thank you in advanced for those participating in bugfest

• Morning Glory release update

  • A lot of work on how the terms in Licenses and supplementary properties in Agreements work - based on the same underlying data structure and processes called custom properties

  • Setting > Licenses > General > Terms

  • New interface managing the terms including search

  • Adding a new term - Reorganizing the screen was reorganized

  • Type – two new option: Date and Pick list (multi-select)

    • Date: Example License Term that might be expressed at a date? 

      • Martina Karlsson (chat): Date in a license - EBA for ebooks, no ILL during the evaluation period, ILL ok for purchased titles after the evaluation period is finished.

      • In edit mode you can set the date using the normal date picker

    • Multi value picklist e.g. Authentication method

      • Up till now each term can have a single value so several terms are needed with yes/no option e.g. IP authentication support? Access via proxy supported?

      • Now a single term: adding a new pick list e.g. authenticationMethods and add e.g. SAML, IP, Proxy, dedicated username/password

      • Set up a new term – choose Type Pick list (multi-select)

      • In the license multiple values can be selected - list of values is displayed in view mode – searchable, too

    • Either in licenses or agreements supplementary properties

  • Supplementary properties

    • Option to deprecated a property – no longer appear in the edit form, but won’t delete any existing values

    • will still display in the view pane and it is labeled as DEPRECATED  – you can remove it, if you need to  

    • Edit mode – you don’t see the option to set it

    • Emma: are the deprecated ones still searchable/filterable?

    • yes in supplementary property filter builder: it shows “deprecated: … “ e.g. you can use it to tidy up the records 

  • Categories

    • Category – build for open access terms –included in default data in Lotus release

    • You can use category for other purposes e.g. renewalProperties

    • Supplementary properties (RenewalProperties) accordion will be displayed

    • Accordion will be displayed, if you have a category assigned to the supplementary property

    • Open Access property is a special case, displayed differently (accordion)

    • Are there other classes to support which we can agree on?

  • internal KB

    • Reorganized the search for e-resource

    • Some options only apply to titles and some to packages in Agreements

    • Now clearer in search & filters

    • Option to move identifier(s) (Actions menu) e.g. ID are assigned to wrong journal - Move IDs: Select e-resources for Source title and Destination title

    • Package filters: extended the types of information that can be used to describe packages

  • Planning Nolana release
