Task 1.2: Add agreement line to an agreement with acquisition units assigned

Task 1.2: Add agreement line to an agreement with acquisition units assigned

This task is designed to gather feedback on the mechanisms for viewing acquisitions units on an agreement line

Using the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aPzKeLSUv7_YiRJ2teH7OjeZ_BOYIQruTW7ta6I_hOM/edit?usp=sharing please give feedback on:

  • Whether the acquisition unit assignment is clearly visible when viewing the agreement line

  • Any confusion about how acquisition units work in relation to agreement lines

  • Missing information or documentation you'd like to see

  • Anything else

When creating acquisition units and agreements, please treat the names given in the instructions (Science Team, Science Database etc.) as suggestions. In order to avoid clashing with others carrying out the same UAT it’s better to create your own unique names for units and agreements.

Note that the first 9 steps are the same as Task 1.1 and so if you have already completed that task, you can skip directly to step 10

  1. Login to Snapshot or Snapshot-2 or Eureka Snapshot Folio with the username/password: diku_admin / admin

  2. Navigate to Settings → Acquisition Units

  3. Create a new acquisition unit called "Science Team" with the checkboxes for Edit, Create and Delete checked

  4. Assign your user with the role-erm-admin permission set / “ERM Admin” authorisation role to the acquisition unit

  5. Logout, and log back in as your user

  6. Navigate to the Agreements app

  7. Create a new agreement called "Science Database Package 2026"

  8. In the agreement edit screen, locate the acquisition units field and assign the "Science Team" acquisition unit to this agreement

  9. Save the agreement and in the agreement view, locate the Acquisition units accordion and verify that the Science Team acquisition unit is displayed

  10. Locate and open the “Agreement lines” accordion and choose “New agreement line” from the Actions menu

  11. In the “Description” add some text, e.g. “Science Database 1”

  12. Save the agreement line and in the agreement line view, locate the Acquisition units accordion and verify that the Science Team acquisition unit is displayed

Remember, the point of this task is to allow you to explore the functionality available, so feel free to vary the task and add any feedback you have to the spreadsheet.
