Development update

• general work focusing on the GOKB integration and the ACQ unit work

• partly related to the GOKB UAT: Synchronisation terminology (can already be seen on Snapshot)

  • new terms for synchronisation status: "Enabled"/"Disabled"

• Felix from Chat: "I've just now adjusted the German translation to match the new English terms in Lokalise:
  Disable synchronisation = Synchronisierung deaktivieren
  Enable synchronisation = Synchronisation aktivieren"

Identifier displays in Agreements

• some changes of the layout of the package and the title display in the local KB

  • in the GOKB display there are similar identifier, but in “extended title informationen” there are more identifiers

• problem: not all identifiers are for all resources, this leads to situations where the identifiers may or may not exist and the layout is difficult because there are all identifier fields shown

• Proposal: Replacing the actual layout with the tabluar layout (like under "extendend title/package information")

• Is there already feedback?

  • Karina: likes to idea, but should be searchable

  • Owen: is searchable

  • Karina: What if there are more than one ISBN? How will this be shown?

  • Owen: Two approachs possible: all in one field/heading or one field for each ISBN label

  • Felix: in Inventory there are different rows.

  • Felix: Different names between "type" fields under "extended package information" and in the field headers.

  • Owen: can be solved.

• Translation difficulties with identifier types: Adding a explanation?

• Philipp from Chat: "I like the table view. I prefer not repeating the data in different places, too. The 'wrapped' GOKB UUID looks harder to capture in a copy-and-paste action."

• Philipp from Chat: "There will be eISSNs and e-ISSNS, Will that be a problem?"

  • Owen: Some are sorted. GOKB is relevant consistent with types and recording the data.
