Acquisitions

Central ordering can be conducted from the central tenant. Creating an order in the central tenant linked to a shared Instance and linked to Holdings and items that are created in any of the related data tenants. Meaning the central agency can order and pay/invoice while the member agencies receive (and potentially pay/invoice) material locally.

Data export

A user in the Central tenant will be able to export records based on custom profiles that may include holdings and items data from affiliated member tenants.

Also, files generated by all member tenants can be accessed through the Consortium manager app.

Bulk edit

A user in the Central tenant will be able to bulk update:

• shared instances

• holdings and items from affiliated tenants

• staff and patron records associated with the Central tenant.

Circulation

ECS requesting will allow for FOLIO-only ECS environments to circulate, loan, and request materials at both title and item levels across multiple tenants (collections, institutions, or libraries)

Mediated requests

Mediated requests can be created and confirmed. When confirm standard requests will be generated according to ECS requesting updates that will fill and ultimately close the mediated request. These mediated requests can also be denied, canceled etc.
