• The goal is for volunteers to attend other SIG meetings to raise consortial issues and report back on work within the SIG that might be of interest to the Consortia SIG members

Gap analysis

• Open call for any members who have performed a gap or needs analysis on FOLIO and is willing to share their findings

• Darsi has added the analysis done by Stanford 

• Peter S.: the German libraries are planning to do an analysis soon

• Joe: FLO & Simmons did an analysis 3-4 years ago and at the time identified no dealbreakers from their perspective

  • Consortial borrowing issues are likely to become a problem as more FLO libraries migrating in the next few years

• Elena: Currently migrating to FOLIO and is actively borrowing and lending; likely to hit some roadblocks in this workflow and will report back

• Do we need a link on the wiki for 'Consortia SIG Meetings and Notes' and 'Meeting notes'?  The content is duplicated.

  • No.  

• There are 2 Google Drives for this SIG.  Going forward, all new documents should use the consortia_new drive.

• Should we add a standing agenda item for vendors to provide updates?  The goal is to create an open door invitation for vendors to report out if they want.  They are not required or compelled to do so.
