Scope: MVP goal is consortial borrowing of returnables (i.e. borrowing/lending within a consortium)

Features being worked on:

• Discovery - creation of a shared index; push loads/feeds out of local ILS; likely to use OAI-PMH and maybe FTP (either automated or manual);

  • "record cluster" - deduplication at the instance level

  • real-time availability information - working on figuring out approach/solution to this

• Library directory

  • hierarchy for handling branches

  • some stats (net borrower/lender data)

  • thinking about libraries with multiple consortial relationships

  • loan rules - likely to be fairly simple for MVP

• Fulfillment

  • request creation primarily anticipated to happen via discovery

  • routing/load balancing

  • NCIP for ILS integration

  • better shipping info (tracking numbers, etc.)
