In-person meeting possibility

  • For each potential meeting time, three people indicated they may be able to attend

  • Topics: Lots of possibilities but no clear-cut goal for in-person meeting (though it would be nice to have F2F time with other SIG members - probably not the right opportunity at this point with only three potential attendees)

  • Decision: Leaning toward no F2F meeting of Consortia SIG

Data Import (formerly Batch Loader) Subgroup - Original Working Group Page

Data import process

  • used to get bib and acq data into system

  • action rules & mapping rules - like Lego blocks

  • job tells FOLIO modules what to do with data being imported

  • scope of records

    • inventory

    • source storage

    • MARCcat

    • acquisitions

  • out of scope: ERM, e-holdings, users, vendors

  • can preview a load (but not roll it back)

Q: Any discussion of feature to load across multiple tenants from single import file?

  • A: No. Q: Is there actually a use case here? (Need to discuss further)

We probably need to provide more detail about the types of data that need to be "targetable" as mentioned in UXPROD-1419.

(if time allows)

UXPROD-795

  • continue discussing, including scoping this in consideration of features anticipated to be provided by ReShare
