WOLFcon debrief

Our Consortia presentation went fine (~100 attendees), didn’t hear a lot of feedback. Dennis did hear that folks thought it was interesting and folks took tidbits out of it. Thought energy was good at WOLFcon, new folks, a lot happening.

ECS functionality update session, was a LOT of information, not a ton of reactions yet. (~80 attendees) Thinking of future WOLFcons, should we have Consortia sessions on specific domains rather than one big session covering all modules.

Another idea for WOLFcon session, or even thinking about how our SIG funtions: what value do we want to get out of being in a Consortium. Maybe having conversations about workflows, when should something be a workflow solution instead of a software solution. Have a rep go to the module-specific SIG to talk about it more there. Let’s talk about this more in a month or so. Or maybe someone who is already in those SIGs can be a liaison to us and attend our meetings when it’s a topic for their SIG.

Before we finalize, Lucy has asked Shaun Boyle of GALILEO to review their wish list, how does it overlap. Maybe MOBIUS should do the same?

We will say our top 5 will be from our voting on consortia-related issue page. Lucy will post that on slack, we’ll discuss and finalize at our next meeting.

Vivian: Issue is about Inventory search results returning incorrect results (is an “OR” across search criteria instead of an “AND”). This ticket (UIIN-2820) is about default tenant should be current tenant. The way this issue has been “organized” in tickets isn’t quite right for Vivian to say one of those tickets should be in our Top 5.
