Example MARC authority file for 5XX relationship testing

Use the following unique MARC authority records for Data Import testing. The records include 5XX fields for broader term, narrower term, earlier heading, and later heading mapping rules.

Relationship coverage in the main record:

  • Broader term: 550 $wg

  • Narrower term: 550 $wh

  • Earlier heading: 550 $wa

  • Later heading: 550 $wb

The additional four records provide unique matching authority headings for the relationship targets so the import can create or link to distinct records during testing.
