  • Where should cross council chairs meeting notes live?

    • AGREED - In a separate tree under the CC wiki space (everyone can edit)

    • ACTION - Simeon to move them and share link

        • Functional Criteria for FOLIO Modules / Kristin Martin - A bit stuck, Kristin would like to recruit new participants. This is still need

    • What is FOLIO? (50 mins)

      • GOALS:

        • Any shared understanding good

        • Concrete actions to move this forward

      • Update on where various related efforts stand expected to come up as part of discussion

        • Platform minimal - Some work has been done to define a minimal platform, and to reduce the number of modules required.  See https://github.com/folio-org/platform-minimal.  Additional work remains on the devOps side to create vagrant boxes, etc. for this.  Aside from that there isn’t much else going on here.  Once this work is complete I think we’ll largely have accomplished what we originally set out to.  See also: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/15_t3W-AQ2SA-kYuLTcIYUdjR18wY-uJ8lpcT1Rxehg8/edit#slide=id.g146c9ab2134_0_66

        • Julie Bickle's group/FOLIO builds -- this group has not made further progress, group fallen apart

        • Firefly group / Mike Taylor -- not much progress since WOLFCon due to lack of funding for the effort.

      • Try to reach agreement on terminology... Simeon and Kristin to provide strawman definitions

        • the FOLIO "platform" vs "product"

        • what is an "app"

        • etc.

      • Discussion topics:

        • How do we want to use the term "FOLIO"? The draft gives it a specific meaning (shorthand for FOLIO LSP the s/w product) but we could have it as a term with multiple meanings as product, project, community then use more specific wording when we want more specific meaning (e.g. FOLIO Community)

    • What else should we try to move forward from the actions in Things that could be better about FOLIO - Oct '22 ? (10 mins)

      • Look at last three pages of the presentation to see whether there is consensus on areas to move forward on

  • Moving ahead with comms changes from https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/display/CC/2023-01-09+Meeting+notes 

    • Was agreed that Tom/Simeon/Kat will set up FOLIO-announce email

    • Was agreed that Tom will work with Peter to remove Trello

    • Was agreed to deprecate Discuss, how do we do that?
