It is happening, all going well. About 9% participation so far (298 votes). Will be a reminder soon.
TC had only one more candidate than seats. Suggests that CC might survey member organizations who didn’t have candidates to see what pain points or impediments there are to getting a larger set of nominees.

WOLFcon complimentary registrations
@Simeon Warner
Question on #community-council Slack 2025-06-13:
“I wonder how do folio community members apply for the free ticket to Wolfcon? And would it be possible to convert the free ticket to several virtual attendance tickets instead? If this isn't the appropriate channel for this question please direct me to the right one if you know.”
Simeon answered the technical part about getting free tickets. Need to discuss the possibility of virtual tickets
Comments from Jesse on practical issues: We are using Sched this year to handle registrations, but I suspect the process for dealing with the complimentary registrations for FOLIO member organizations will be similar. It will be easy for someone to use the code to for a single registration, in-person or virtual, as you suggest. I don't imagine there will be a practical way to do a code that will cover either one in-person registration or several virtual ones. However, we can probably handle the scenario, if the FOLIO project would like to allow for this to happen, The most likely scenario would be for us to do the codes as usual for in-person registrations, then address multiple virtual complimentary registrations via e-mail between the organization and WOLFcon
CC question - Should we allow a swap for multiple virtual tickets to a similar value?
Jesse - Handling registration through sched rather than eventbrite this year. We have the ability to restrict “free links” to particular types so we can control how they can be used. We can work out a way to do multiple virtual if we want but it might be a bit tricky
Jesse/Christopher - Part of our contract with the hotel relies on room reservations to get conference spaces and other cost constraints. We are little more worried about hitting that amount in the current climate that we might otherwise be. It is important than anyone going in-person use the conference link
AGREED - 3 virtual in place of 1 in-person attendance
Contribution Network and K-Int proposal regarding alternative license
TC had a first discussion of this model and had questions/interest as shared with CC on Slack. Mike might join TC to discuss but we should get good notes
PC has not reviewed this yet
Might be good to have tri-council discussion, perhaps good to get some answers to TC questions first
Alternative idea with more restrictive licensing to support app maintenance:
Nobody in CC on call had seen this before today, no knowledge of OLF discussion. Might need Ian to attend to present to CC
@Shawn Nicholson notes good progress on “Develop approach to measure what the community does and how much it costs now”
“Refinement of letter to non-member institutions” -@Shawn Nicholson notes to 50% of mailing list was created (by Shawn) and recommend that we move ahead with that. Can’t be Simeon to mail as rolling off CC, and Christoper staying out as not wanting to seem EBSCO driven
Do we need to change language to not mention end of fiscal year
ACTION - Simeon to put onto next agenda to get over the line with new CC chairs - DONE, added “Letter to non-member institutions” item in https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/x/xAbyPw
Blueprint for FOLIO community and software ecosystem and marketplace
Think that there are substantive differences of approach between this, the Contribution Network and the K-Int proposal
