Bulk edit

UXPROD-4025: Creating and Managing Bulk Edit Profiles for Scheduling JobsIn Refinement and related mockups

  • 8 Use cases listed on Jira ticket UXPROD-4025.

  • An additional permission will be created to allow a profile to be locked.

  • Archiving a profile might be out of scope for this ticket.

    • Interest in being able to create ‘inactive’ profiles, primarily for those less frequently used.

    • The Lists app has ‘active’ and ‘inactive’ status for Lists. Group suggests parity for BE where appropriate.

    • Action will require permissions to designate who can archive a profile.

    • Interest in being able to duplicate archived (or inactive) profiles

  • Must-have use cases : Creating, Editing, and Deleting BE Profiles

  • After the must-have : Duplicating, Archiving

  • Bulk Edit Permissions wiki page

    • Another column on the table will be added for the ‘Settings' for profiles

    • Profiles follow Data Import and Data Export process & look

    • Preference between a checkbox or dropdown for status : dropdown

      • Dropdowns are more flexible ; more consistent with other FOLIO functionality

      • Could a filter be added to limit display based on status in the Settings sections? – Magda team to investigate options

    • Interest in being able to create a profile based on a created BE job in the BE app

    • Interest in being able to use tokens for data (i.e. interest today’s take) ; debate on when is the best time to implement the functionality
