Ramsons release updates

Bulk edit update

• Magda spotlighted the last slide

Tickets that were blocking Bulk edit testing has been resolved and bulk edit testing can continue. We are currently testing large bulk edit jobs (~100 000 records), with several performance testing tickets in progress.

• Eureka ECS environment: https://eureka-bugfest-ramsons-consortium.int.aws.folio.org/

• OKAPI non-ECS environment: FOLIO

• Feel free to experiment in these environments

• Do not run large BE jobs simultaneously because they will fail

• Lists:

  • some permissions missed, fixes will be in CSR 1

  • all other Ramsons issues resolved

In-process of finalizing some permissions issues that will get included in Ramsons CSP1

Sunflower release updates

Bulk edit update

• UIBULKED-571: Errors in response to UI callsClosed

  • Red error message 500 appears due to interaction with the other app

  • Bring up seeing these error messages in BELA meetings or Slack so they can be addressed

• MODBULKOPS-389: Supported actions for bulk editing Instances statistical codesClosed

  • Can do BE administrative data and MARC data on the same screen/same BE job

  • Can download the MARC records

  • No support for holdings and item records statistical codes currently so changes will not update those records

Lists app update

• (Both of these functionalities are available anywhere query building is possible, including BE)

• UIPQB-164: Columns are reset when user modifies queryClosed

• UIPQB-182: Add ability to remove first query parameterClosed

  • Display enum and chron & Volume with effective call number for items and holdings - MODFQMMGR-158: Add enumeration fields to Items entity typeClosed
