Trillium - Querying Repeatable Fields UAT

User Acceptance Test Overview

This User Acceptance Test (UAT) is designed to validate the functionality implemented under https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-4858

The goal of this test is to confirm that users can successfully search for values in repeatable fields when building queries for Bulk Edit jobs or Lists creation, and that the system behaves as expected.

UAT Structure

This UAT consists of five sections:

  1. Tester Information
    Basic details about the person conducting the test.

  2. Tests for Repeatable fields with predefined values
    Querying inventory records

    1. Items by statistical codes

    2. Instances by language

  3. Tests for Repeatable fields containing free text fields
    Querying instance records by:

    1. Subjects

    2. Notes

  4. General feedback

Questions about finding properties for query and rendering results

  1. Exploratory Testing
    Open-ended testing to uncover edge cases, usability issues, or unexpected behaviors.

Accessing Query Builder

From the Bulk edit app

  1. Navigate to the Bulk Edit app.

  2. Select the Query tab.

  3. Choose the Record Type.

  4. Click the Build Query button.

From the Lists app

  • Creating a New List

    1. Click the New button (top right corner).

    2. Provide a List Name, select Record Type, Visibility, and Status.

    3. Click the Build Query button.

  • Updating an Existing List

    1. Click the List Name hyperlink.

    2. From the Actions menu, select Edit List.

    3. Click the Edit Query button.
