Looking for examples of real life test scenarios for creating and using profiles. Complaints have been made that bugfest doesn’t supply realistic scenarios.

Example use case : updating a batch update of books set to ‘In Process’ while they were being repaired/taken off the shelf. These materials have already been received and fully processed. No expected implication on acquisitions workflows.
Questions about how an item became to be ‘In process’ or ‘In process - non-requestable’ and the difference between the two
Concerns that this might bypass business logic and a wish for custom item states ; will need to take this into consideration when implemented
Sites also wish they could do batch check-in and don’t know where there might be overlap with this functionality
