Notes

Today we focused on follow-up from the Product Owner meeting where we discussed our JIRA priority tickets. At the meeting, we presented our ranked list of priority issues. The POs provided valuable feedback and asked for more specific details about where problems actually occur and what the real issues are. They confirmed some minor fixes have already been implemented.

We identified a need to stay updated on ticket progress as issues branch into sub-tickets. We explored tracking solutions, with Owen suggesting JIRA dashboards to monitor all stories related to each umbrella issue, and Laura proposing individual "guardian angels" to watch specific features. We decided to try the dashboard approach.

For improving our tickets, we discussed the wildcard consistency issue as an example. The current ticket states "as a folio user, I want all apps to use the same wildcards" but lacks specificity about which apps have problems and what the exact solutions should be. We agreed that tickets need more detail about where issues occur and clearer implementation guidance.

We established a strategy to tackle one priority issue per meeting until all are revised, focusing on adding information we're confident about rather than over-engineering tickets.
