Announcements

• PC changes on SIG reports:

  • monthly reporting will change; no need to fill out monthly reports for now; PC will inform SIGs about new schedule soon

  • introduce rolling SIG updates at PC meeting; every meeting two SIGs may present/discuss their top 5 priorities; sign in on PC topic calendar

• Next Session October 1: Reporting SIG: Inconsistent in app reports

• Search and standards documentation

  • I think we want to go with a github site: https://taracbarnett.github.io/sample-search-standards-documentation/ or https://taracbarnett.github.io/search-standards-test-2/ <--these are just sketches with junk data, not a fully functional option.

    • We can easily modify the data

    • We can control what is presented

    • Maybe a better option will come along in the future

    • Alternative services investigated: wiki (database, pages), airtable, basic google sheet, notion, whatever docs runs on.

  • The premise:

    • A user should be able to easily find how a search field works

    • A user should be able to easily see whether or not FOLIO complies with what the community has decided is the standard across the system as a whole
