What belong to app Interaction SIG?

Some issues within Inventory: leading/trailing white spaces cause search failure and ordering of item records can’t be changed--they could fall under the consistency umbrella?

End users feel like their time is not being respected.

Can Cross-app provide guidelines across apps? E.g., dates should be provided in ISO format (MODINVOICE-595: Voucher export dates have changed from human-readable timestamp to epoch long formatOpen )

• Not a cross-app issue as it is within an individual module, but we do have a roll in providing guidance for consistency across apps.

It is easy for POs to prioritize new features over consistency features.

What are the consistency things that are going to offer the most value per resource and within the money? - are these painpoints across multiple apps? What is the cost for forcing users to think differently in different apps?

• Right now, consistency is sometimes like, “let’s do it like the first team that did it.” - that’s not always the best implementation

• trade-offs with introducing new features and improvements and consistency

• Can cross-app help put things into perspective

• One of the reasons stuff doesn’t get done, is because nobody does it. What is stopping organizations for contributing and solving the problem? - feels too big, too difficult

• Example: I can be DIY at home, but that doesn’t mean I can contribute to a new development site.

• Highlighting institutional workarounds / add ons, especially ones that go between apps, could be something this group could consider in scope
