  • The PC also discussed the Eureka platform change over and timeline: Report on the timeline for adoption of the Eureka platform

    • All three councils have endorsed the Eureka transition, with the cavaet that all requirements need to be meet for Eureka to be released with Sunflower

  • Next SIG Conveners meeting is on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 10 AM: https://zoom.us/j/867230970

    • All are welcome to attend.

    • We plan to discuss the prioritization process and how it is going.

    • Please reach out to Kristin Martin on any additional topics you'd like to see the SIG convener meetings cover.

Implementer’s topic # 161

Martina Schildt

  • Until Poppy, both alias and description were displayed in the organization's records view mode. Now only the alias is displayed. To see the description, the user has to open the record in edit mode. Not every user of FOLIO will have permissions to edit the record. It is also cumbersome to add more clicks just to see the description of an alternative name.

  • Important for people across FOLIO including ERM side

  • Sara Colglazier 12:14 PM
I also use these fields in this way, and have missed being able to see the Description info for the Alias as well. It is really helpful

  • Topics 162-164 scheduled for February 14th

Implementer’s topic # 165

Kimberly Pamplin

  • Bug? - Reopened order status in Holdings retains reason for closure.

  • While testing linking our POLs to Holdings now that we are in Poppy, I noticed that a reopened order will maintain it's reason for closure in the Holdings record, which makes it a bit confusing. I'm assuming this is just a bug and needs a ticket? It happens in Ramsons BugFest too. It's not as common, but there are cases for ongoing orders where a title will cease and then come back or we might cancel and then reinstate.

  • Kristin Martin 12:18 PM
That is weird and confusing. I would agree the reason should be removed.

  • Lisa Smith, Mich State 12:19 PM
    Seems buggy to me!

Claiming Documentation

Molly Driscoll

  • If anyone is interested in working on Claiming documentation, reach out to Molly Driscoll. Can ask questions with no strings attached.

  • A little initial work for page setup, but after that would be maintenance
