Problem(s)

Libraries are asking for the ability to save and continue editing records without having to re-open the record after each save. This is particularly critical when creating/editing records with a large number of fields.

User must be able to save an incomplete record (missing required fields)

  • User is filling out a complex record requiring that the user be outside the record for several minutes, risking RTR time-out and loss of saved work
Assign separate "save & keep editing" hotkey, distinct from "Save" (which also closes)
