Minutes

Development progress update

  • ERM sprint 169 page has not been set up due to illness of a team member - will follow asap
  • new dashboard widget on AGLs will be available soon
  • work is going on to add alternative filter to agreements (has been an implementers requirement
    • the "does not contain" Operator cannot be used for alt names
    • reason: it is more complex then using the operator for the title, as the alternative name is not obligatory and you can have multiple
    • applies to all porperties where you have multiple properties of the same type
    • To Do ERM team to revisit
  • we now have data on record last updated and record created for reocrds in the internal KB UI
  • in QA: AGLs no longer appear in Agreements edit screen (solve performance issues when many AGLs per agreement)
    • when new agreements are created from the basket, there is a modal where the user needs to enter title, status and start date to create the agreement now (as the UI works differently now)
  • question by Jessica in chat: Is the agreement line fix still anticipated to be released in Poppy?
    • the one mentioned will be, there were other issues that will be solved by a critical service patch for Orchid (and Nolana)
    • Owen will post more information in the Slack channel
    • comment by Sara: include information/link to AGLS from agreement edit view - Owen will discuss with Gill

Implementers topics - Adding a specific Organization contact for each Agreement / License

  • this relates to contact people that can be linked to organization records
  • will apply equally to licenses
  • comment by Jessica Harris in chat: I think that would be very helpful. Even just a spot there for job title would help.
  • Bernd: just the contact would not be sufficient, would need roles
  • Sabrina in chat: In our Organisation App we use the contact Information accordion with categories (same as contact persons). If we want sent an email, it saves some clicks because the email-address is shown in the Agreements Accordion.
  • Felix in chat: Would it make sense to add the "Add contacts" Plugin to the Agreements/Licenses edit screen? Could be Independent from the organization accordion or within it... A user could look up a contact and link it to the Agreement or License.
  • Martina Schildt: I had the same thought could be part of a general contact accordion
  • Owen: it should be straightforward to add more information from the organization record
  • Martina S.: contact people is an app developed in the early days, not all institutions are using them, especially as linking contact people to organizations is not straightforward
  • Owen and Gill will discuss and come back to the group with ideas

Implementers topics - Ability to search/filter eRessources from the local KB in the Dashboard and display them in the widget

  • use cases: which ebooks are new or have status current
    • want to see in widget: is new or status has changed
  • e-resources tagged with a specific tag
    • display them in a widget
    • Sara uses tags for titles with open tickets
    • we could come back to for eholdings
    • Owen will write a story for the requirement

Yes, our FY is July-June. & It has been even more stressful this year than usual. sigh …. But we are in FY24 finally now!
14:33:47 Von  Sabrina Bayer  an  Alle:

We just use the contact person field. The addresses are used by our payment folks

If we have more than one contact we use "Contact People"
