The PC Exec committee is willing to look at a request from us to prioritize bulk API development based on its usefulness as an infrastructure enhancement. This would be independent of the aggregate it gets from institutional members. I thought we could discuss at this meeting what aspects of bulk APIs people feel are relevant to viewing it it in this way.

Kirstin Kemner-Heek suggested taking this to the PC Executive Committee Agenda Planning Group/Meeting. Will need a written proposal.

patty.wanninger suggests selling higher ranking to the implementers, and plans to work on that angle.

Concern that infrastructural needs should not be subject to community ranking process.

  • St. Vincent College in PA brought up this weekend - fourth ByWater customer live! 
    • Issue with converting users, old system had users entered manually, not keyed to campus IdM infrastructure, so interested issues of resolving identities, probably . Probably will require post-implementation cleanup.
