PC update

Minutes (now in wiki!)

Discussion about agenda setting. Should it be a more open process. The PC Exec committee sets the agendas. Harry pointed out that we the PC Exec charter should be reviewed before appointing a committee. The charter will be looked at in 4 to 5 weeks. The PC Exec committee will continue as the "Agenda Setting Group" - The goal is that they will get an agenda for the PC Committee by Tuesday - two days before the meeting.

The LDP app was rejected for inclusion in Juniper release. Many were surprised. Is the LDP app a core part of the LSP? Reporting is considered to be a core part of an LSP. A decision was made that the LDP app will be included in the Kiwi release.

Future: What are key parts of FOLIO? How should these be considered over time? How will these decisions be made.

Jennifer Eustis (via chat): "If it is a core component of FOLIO, would it come at an extra hosting fee for those who have FOLIO hosted?"

"If LDP uses another server, I can see having to pay extra for that." ("Marmot Office")

Will there be transparent resources dedicated to the LDP app? Similar to the data import group, will there be a Project Manager for this app? — Jennifer Eustis.

Philip responded that there are a lot of issues of support and what can be maintained over time that need to be addressed as FOLIO grows.Action: If anyone would like Laura to send emails when the meeting agenda is set up, please let her know. Is her post on Slack enough?

FOLIO Documentation

Review needed of "v.1"

Action: New liaison needed for Documentation WG

Inventory Draft is a dense document. No screenshots are in the current iteration. The text is present now for Inventory.
With Charlotte's permission, the document could be shared for review to the larger MM group.

Style, "Google Style" - someone is making sure that the language and style is in Google Docs Style.

Close to a v.1 draft.

Jesse is hoping Charlotte can review first, then get feedback from MM SIG members.

Action: Reach out to Jesse if you would like to help with documentation.
