Updates from Various Reporting Related Groups and EffortsCommunity & Coordination, Reporting Subgroup Leads

Project updates

The Reporting SIG is using small working groups to address priorities and complete our work.  Each week, we will provide updates to the Reporting SIG from these various reporting-related groups and efforts.

  • Community & Coordination: Angela will take the lead on creating JIRA tickets for prototypes and queries, which can then be updated by team leads. Details are still under discussion. Query status in GitHub is also under discussion.

  • RA/UM Working Group:
    • Clint Bellanger is developing the Collections Use Cluster query (UXPROD-1915)
    • Sarah Park is developing the Requests Cluster query (UXPROD-2029)
    • Cheryl Malmborg is developing the Fines/Fees Cluster prototype (UXPROD-2023)
    • Vandana Shah is developing the Claims Returned prototype and query, and the Slips/Notices prototype and query (waiting on data element for slips/notices) (UXPROD-2020, UXPROD-2032)
    • Eliana Lima and Natalya Pikulik will each pick a cluster to prototype this week

  • MM Working Group:
    • Kevin Walker touched base with Laura E Daniels in the MM SIG to discuss plans for moving things forward.
    • MM SIG is working to refine JIRA tickets where necessary and are currently working on 1-2 prototypes.
    • This week Kevin Walker will work to finalize the list of needs for JIRA ticket refinement, as well as determine which prototypes MM SIG will complete. Prototypes not claimed by MM SIG members will be assigned to Reporting SIG members.

New Slack Channels for Working Groups

We have created Slack channels for the new Working Groups, in case they wish to use them for their own intra-WG discussion:

  • #reporting-mm-wg
  • #reporting-ra-um-wg
  • #reporting-rm-erm-wg

Time to Rank your Reporting Clusters

All

Reminder: The MVP project managers are interested in getting all the MVP tickets ranked by each institution. If your institution has still not ranked the reporting clusters, please urge them to do so soon. We need this for both MVP and prioritization for what reports to build next within the Reporting SIG. Thank you!

  • In Jira reports are REP, then they become grouped as Clusters, then UXPROD (rank these)
  • You can find all the report clusters in JIRA by searching on the report-cluster label
  • If you're not comfortable in JIRA, feel free to ask Sharon for a report cluster list
