This features enables the cataloguer to create a Bib record for a resource in a certain format (for example, electronic) starting from the equivalent record of the same resource in a different format (such as, paper). The new records will have some fields identical to the original and some other specific for the new material or format type. The function will create automatically the relationshipt between the source and the target record. |

This is part of MARCCat functionality and a very old ticket; closing for cleanup. If needed, it can be recreated. |
