 Description

The ability to within FOLIO bookmarks app save a search&filter query as a dynamic bookmark set, so it can be pulled up later for reuse.

NOTE: Folio already allows you to bookmark a filtered list using browser bookmarks (because the URL for a result list includes the search parameters)

Is this required for supporting workflows for batch editing? E.g., we need to be able to use this to create and save a list of records that will need to be batch edited. We are assuming that this is what this is needed for.

Filip Jakobsen and/or Ann-Marie Breaux - do any of you have comments on this question above from Kristin Martin?
Thanks much.

If this is about selecting records for global updates, then Chicago would need it at go live, so we are updating our ranking in an abundance of caution. There is also this: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-454, which is a different approach.

Kristin Martin Charlotte Whitt I don't know that anyone has done much work on requirements for batch edit yet ( UXPROD-120 In Progress ), but I assume that one of the requirements for batch edit would be a way to find and isolate the batch of records that will need to be edited. Which is to say, I think this feature ( UXPROD-901 Open ) should be considered and ranked separate from the batch edit functionality

UPDATE: Following functionality in Inventory is implemented as of Q2 2020 within the domain of Data Export:

Perform any search query in Inventory
a) use a predefined option (using search option in the drop down menu and/or filter setting) or
b) use the Query Search option; and then click the Actions button in the second pane and select: Save instance CQL query.

The output will be a CSV file, e.g.
SearchInstanceCQLQuery2020-06-15T17_36_22+02_00.csv
