 Description

Purpose: An ad-hoc report. Donor reporting: spend by subject area to report, inform bookplating, simultaneous release of restricted dollars (there is a donor report in the Selector db that is generated for AAD); Most selectors have "P" funds from donors

Note: This is on the Metadata management tab on the Reporting Master spreadsheet, but this is a Resource Management or a cross app report, so not sure who 'own this' - acquisition (Dennis) or Metadata management (Charlotte).

Definition of Inventory Order In-app reports:
A report which is available from within the Inventory Order application itself. The in-app report are using the live data being created and stored in the Inventory Order module.

Hi Dennis Bridges - as you can see in the description notes, then I from the very beginning was not sure if this report belonged in Inventory of the suite of apps related to Acquisition.

BUT when looking at it again, then I think it's not really Inventory

Can I reassign it to you, and remove the Inventory lables?

I agree this is not really Inventory. Also, it sounds more appropriate for LDP than in-app?

Hi Sharon Beltaine and Nassib Nassar - can we assign this to one of you, and change it to the epic for LDP?

Charlotte Whitt Sharon Beltaine and Nassib Nassar I think I would agree that it seems this is an analysis of data from Orders, finances and potentially inventory. Making it a more likely candidate for the LDP. Unless there is a requirement to retrieve this information in realtime?

Dennis Bridges Is this similar to any other reports you are aware of? Reporting is trying to cluster different categories of reports in order to build prototypes but it's not clear where this one falls? Also, do you think it would require real-time financial data?

Comment by Dennis Bridges [ 16/Sep/19 ]

lew235 This my require some discussion in the SIG. I don't believe this would require "real-time" data but that should be validated with the group. There are definitely other reports that could be grouped as monitoring or reporting "Spend". Eg Expenditure by material type like electronic or physical, or spend by department/donor/group/unit etc. Many versions of this have been discussed.
