 Description

Purpose: User needs the ability to manage a purchase order through its lifecycle. The materials need to be approved for purchase, received and eventually paid for.

High Level Requirements:

  • Capture and display the Approval Status - this is manually adjusted by the user according to the workflow state of the PO - initially this will be a hardcoded list of possible values
  • Capture and display the Payment Status - this is adjusted by the system according to the state of the Payment(s) generated by this order that are encumbering the necessary funds - this will be a hardcoded list of possible values
  • Capture and display the Receipt Status - this is adjusted by the system according whether or not and how many of the units of quantity have been received or checked-in - this will be a hardcoded list of possible values

The requirements outlined by this feature have now been implemented. This focused on the collection of data elements required to create an order of this type as the associated business logic is covered elsewhere.
