 Description

Ability to indicate who fees/fines accrue to in a proxy borrowing situation (see attached screenshot). NOTE: RA SIG deprioritized this feature and a story has been written to remove the setting from the proxy UI ( UIU-525 Closed ).

Cate, what is this?

Comment by Cate Boerema (Inactive) [ 16/Feb/18 ]

When a proxy checks out on behalf of a sponsor, the system should look to this setting to determine who any fees/fines accrue to:

The setting is already in place in FOLIO. It just doesn't control anything yet.

Comment by Holly Mistlebauer [ 16/Feb/18 ]

Wow! Never occurred to me they wouldn't accrue to the person in whose name the books were checked out in. Interesting concept...

Yep. Probably not your top priority feature.

This is actually covered by UXPROD-109 Closed .

Just switching this to Open, as it make things easier for sorting and such. I might change it so the "To Do" column is only fed by Open items, as I'm finding the fact that multiple statuses can reside here a bit challenging.

We were reviewing this and could not find anything in https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UXPROD-109 that referenced proxy billing. Duke would like this, though it is not a show-stopper for launch, so we're wondering where the feature is being tracked now.
